Description:
T1 Horse Chestnut approx 15m. We recently visited this property to attend to a large limb failure across the road into the adjacent garden which damaged the adjacent property. This limb failed at around 10 feet from the ground where water has accumulated over the years and weakened the joint. There are four limbs which the owners are concerned about, which overhang Bargate Avenue and the care home porch. The crown of the tree is in a bad way from leaf minor and drought among other things including lack of maintenance. The owners are asking permission to pollard this tree to approx 25 ft. They are concerned about further limb failures causing possible damage to property and possible injury to members of the public and residents.
