- Description:
- The request for pruning approval is regarding the nearest TPO Oak Tree in the properties garden, labelled as 'TPO Tree 1' in the attached drawing. After a visit from the Rugby Council Arboricultural Officer to survey the tree root protection area associated with a building plan proposal, it was advised that minor pruning works were acceptable and this was to be requested via a tree works application. The Pruning works advised by the officer was to 'crown lift' the tree to provide 3-4 metres clearance from ground level and to cut back the southern canopy towards the property by approximately 1.5 metres. The approval of these works would result in a suitable clearance between the tree and the house, as well as gaining light. The works are to be carried out by a professional Arborist.
