T1; Oak - Fell to near ground level Reason: Recent movement of whole tree from root-plate has been highlighted by neighbour with fear of failure at root-plate. Fencing which was originally cut to fit the tree is now distorted, indicating movement since fence installation. Gaps in soil within 1m of trunk and lifted mature ivy indicates movement at soil level. NB a drainage ditch was dug approximately 20-30 years ago within 1.5m of trunk, movement is consistent with historic root damage. No new planting is proposed as the property already supports many trees and natural regeneration is occurring.
