Description:
We recently had a large conifer come down in our garden during storm Ciara and luckily it landed in a direction which didn't do any major damage to property or person - just damaged a brick wall and completely uprooted itself. We reported it and were given permission for its removal. We have 4 remaining large trees which are quite old which we would like to remove for safety purposes too. They add little aesthetic value to our back garden and are planted in such a way as to be either right up against fencing and overhanging neighbours' gardens considerably or they are planted right into the middle of the lawn and are generally very much in the way. One had so much ivy climbing up it we feared that might end up killing it. We moved into the house in September 2019 so inherited the trees and would like to re-plant with some younger varieties which don't dominate or shade the garden so much. We would like to remove an apple tree, a cypress leylandii (we believe it to be), a cherry tree (we believe it to be) and another tree (species unsure) - have attached photos to help with identification. Hope that's OK. Best wishes and many thanks for your help.
