Holm Oak:Remove slender low lateral limb on east side of canopy over the highway back to parent branch.Lift outer canopy tips by 2m Reduce canopy radius by 2-2.5m using suitable reduction points to leave a natural looking canopy outline. This reduction may result in cutting back to, but not beyond previous reduction points. Central canopy growth will remain.Remove small secondary branches growing around Heritage lamp column to give reasonable clearance.(Remove deadwood)Reduce split limb on northeast side of canopy to 5m stump removing terminal and lateral branches. It is my intention that future growth from this branch will be pollarded every 5-8 years to reduce weight on the split beam.
