Description:
Along the public boundary to the property (highlighted in blue on the sketch) is an established Holly and Hawthorn hedge. Some time ago, two Holly and one Hawthorn plant appear to have grown through the hedge and developed into small trees which are now approximately 24 feet high. The Hawthorn tree has several trunks and has grown into the telephone wires above. One of the Holly trees is growing at an angle into the other due to the restricted growth area. All of the trees overhang the public footpath. The plan is to remove the Hawthorn tree and replant with a more attractive flowering specimen such as Crab-apple. I also wish to remove one of the Holly trees and reduce the height of the remaining Holly tree by one third to improve the look of the garden. cons 15
