Planning ref:

Type:
Tree and hedge works
Status:
Application approved with conditions
Address:
64 Central Avenue Nottingham
Description:
Poplar (TPO535 T1). Fell because It has caused damage to the water supply pipe. The cause of damage to the pipework is due to root ingress from the large tree. The roots have wrapped around the pipe causing it to crush the supply and cause a leak. The contractors have been over a number of times to fix the problem but haven?t been able to. They intend to fit a new water pipe but this could happen again due to the size of the tree as it has happened a few times already in the past and could be prevented by the removal of the tree. The gas pipe is also located under the tree which could potentially cause a gas leak if the roots crush the pipe.
