Description:
Initial inspection. The tree has been pollarded rather harshly in the past and has lengthy overlongs from the old pollard points which have a moderate potential to fail should they get much heavier in the future. In reducing and shaping the canopy I would look to prevent this whilst retaining a canopy, which if pollarded would be lost. T1: Ornamental Cherry (Prunus avium) located on the lefthand boundary of the rear garden ? Reduce and shape canopy by approximately 2.5-3.5m in height and evenly reduce the lateral spread approximately 2-2.5m. Remove any major deadwood over 40mm.
