Type:
Full and householder planning application
Status:
Application withdrawn before a decision was taken
Address:
13, Aspen Way, Norton Canes, Cannock,
Description:
- Extension of existing 4ft fence running along the south side of the front lawn - making it 6ft tall feathered wood. Only up to the end of our land, the continuation of the 4ft fence on 'public' land would not be affected. - New 6ft fencing running along the front edge of the front lawn (set 40cm back to allow bushes to be planted in front of it). 6ft fencing continued round to join south-west corner of the property. - Removal of fencing section currently separating front and rear gardens - creating one continuous garden at the front, side and rear of the property. For security reasons it is not an option to have a smaller 4ft fence. There would still be an area of grass directly in-front of the property (and not behind the new fence) which would remain as a front garden. This side fence does not border anyone else's property - we are the last house in the cul-de-sac. Nor does it block or restrict any access or light for any neighbours. The pavement and road at the front of our property are dead-ends and are only used for parking and cars turning. There is no through route past the front of our house for either vehicles or pedestrians.
