- Description:
- Lime (Red) - Remove - 9m tall. It has largely died and is being supported by ivy and a hawthorn tree growing inside it. It is also damaging the brick wall behind it which is part of a Grade II listed premises. It needs to be removed as it is at risk of not supporting its own weight. Once removed, the Hawthorn tree will be allowed to grow.Weeping Mulberry (Blue) - needs extensive pruning and care as it is suffering from die-back. It is also damaging the listed grain store so will be pruned back from that. The tree is approximately 15m tall. The crown reduction is likely to be about 30% of the volume. Red Maple (Yellow) - Remove - 10m tall. Has been hacked away many times by the previous owner and is very close to the house. It is damaging the roof and gutters.Unknown species (Pink) - Remove - 4m tall. The tree is largely dead and has only a small amount of leaf growth. It also over-hangs the neighbour's fence and there is a risk of it causing damage to the fence. Bay (Orange) - The tree is hugely overgrown and needs to be pruned right back. It needs to be thinned and reduced in height. It is approximately 10-11m tall. The crown reduction should involve the removal of peripheral trunks and a reduction in height to approximately 4-5m. This will ensure much more natural light onto the house and the neighbouring property, in addition to the reduction in the chance of damage to our roof and windows, and the boundary fence.
