Type:

Status:
Application approved with conditions
Address:
5 Hastings Close
Description:
Scots Pine-(Pinus Sylvestris)- T1- Fell to ground level. Very large mature tree standing in the rear garden of 5 Hastings Close. Tree is large in relation to the small garden location, also leans towards neighbouring property, would cause significant damage if it were to fail, customer is concerned also about root damage to the property. There are many other Scots Pines in the immediate vicinity and this particular one has relatively low amenity value. Proposed replanting of smaller deciduous tree species at rear of garden

Planning ref:

Type:
Tree and hedge works
Status:
Application refused
Address:
5 Hastings Close, Thetford, Norfolk,
Description:
Scots Pine (T61) 2002 No.8 - Fell due to the amount of tree debris falling into the guttering of 4 properties which is a year around problem. Also the tree canopy leans over to the east dropping large amounts of pine cones onto ours and our neighbors garden. The bird dropping (mainly pigeon) are making it unsafe for our son to play in the garden. This tree provides little to no amenity value as it its hidden between 3 story housing.
