Works required on 'Ash': Removal of the dead wood, the north-western branch growing into the crown of adjacent oak (b); and the young upright branch arising from below the decaying old pruning wound on the western side. The cutting back of the southern/south-western section of the crown by approximately 1.5 metres to increase the clearance between the edge of the canopy and the gable elevation of the house and chimney; The cutting back of the longer branches extending over the public footpath to the north/northeast by 1.5 - 2 metres to reduce their end-weight and associated susceptibility to failure.
