Description:
The tree is a twin trunked conifer tree that sits in the far corner of my garden, that borders onto The Wilderness and the banks of the beck. This tree has been allowed to grow twice as high as the fence and part of the tree has grown over the fence towards the beck. It is my concern that this pressure on the fence will cause damage, which if the fence breaks, would provide no barrier to the steep bank of the beck and may also cause damage to the flood defenses of the bank. Because of this, I would like to remove the tree entirely. I have spoken to a qualified arborist who has advised that they would be able to cut it to a stump, should permission be provided.
