There is visible signs of honey fungus mycelium (photo 3) where the bark has flaked off. There is also a large Ganoderma bracket (photo 4) on the opposite side of the stem. Replant in same location (after stump grinding etc) with new tree more suitable to proximity of house, client is open to recommendation/instruction on species.
