Address:
Tree Tops Main Street Shalstone Buckinghamshire
Description:
Two immature Horse Chestnut Trees. Both trees are within the north-west boundary of our property. They are approximately 4m high, located 4.4m and 6m respectively from our house and are adjacent to both our car parking area and Glebe House driveway. Both trees are situated directly beneath two overhead power cables supplying electricity to our neighbouring property The Old Rectory. Both trees are located in an unsafe position relative to their proximity to the overhead power cables and our house. If allowed to mature, in the short term they will grow into the overhead power cables having the strong potential to disrupt power supplies and in the medium term, there is potential for root intrusion to our driveway and house. Historical damage to some branches has also resulted in rot to the trunks of both trees. Given the future potential risks and poor condition of the trees, permission is requested to remove them.
