Remove 2 smaller stems to remove competition, these will be reduced to a maintainable hedge height. Remaining 3 large stems crown lift to provide definition between hedge/trees and reduce canopy by 25% leaf cover as part of a staged reduction. Either remove hawthorn or try to incorporate into hedge.
