Description:
In the rear garden of 3 Dibbin Close, Weldon, NN17 3HZ. Two large established Sycamore trees are located towards the rear of the garden, close enough to each other to effectively merge canopy when in leaf. The canopy/branches appear to have not been worked on for a number of years and several of the larger beaches overhand neighbouring properties. Some of these beaches are dead and some of the larger ones continue to grow further over neighbouring properties. My concern is one of safety to, neighbours, neighbours property and also my own property and family. Having just recently purchased the property, many smaller branches were found scattered across the garden which added to my concern of larger branches failing. On consultation with a tree Surgeon, my application is to have both trees crowned by 3 Metres thereby reducing the overhang of the tree to neighbouring properties and bringing the tree back under control. I wish to carry out this work before any sign of nesting. Results when purchasing the property did not identify the trees were subject of any TPO's.
