- Description:
- T2. Mature Beech tree, 50ft high, lapsed pollard. T1 which is a beech tree approximately 1 meter away from T2 has Meripilus surround the trunk and will be removed leaving T2 standing by itself. (No permission required) - T2 would stand completely on its own and will be very unbalanced along with the prevailing sw wind coming from where T1 was. The Lapsed multi stemmed pollard, extremely unbalanced canopy, possible transfer of Meriplus (no evidence yet) and high targets of pedestrians and traffic on magdalen road we are applying for the removal of T2.The added visual look of T2 if it were to be left after T1 is removed would not be in keeping with the area. Please have a close look at the pictures provided showing the Pollard of T2. Applying for permission to remove T2 just to clarify as T1 will be removed regardless due to Meripilus.
