Description:
T1. Starting with Lawson Cypress at the edge of the car park. This is a multi-stemmed tree. On looking at the tree it appears to be growing extremely well. However, it does have some weak fork structures. To avoid stems breaking out during periods of high winds, I would recommend that the canopy be thinned out by removing branches, to thin the tree by 25%, removing deadwood and lift the low branches to approximately 7ft to increase headroom.G2. Four Limes, further down, there were pollarded approximately 7years ago. All four trees are in good condition. To re-pollard these down to their old pollarding points, removing all the re growth.T3. Going down the road on the left hand side, there is a large Ash tree, beneath this is a public footpath. The upper crown of this tree contains some large deadwood material, recommend that the major deadwood be removed form this tree, together with a 15% crown thin.T4. Ash next in line. This is smaller tee containing some large dead material. Again I would recommend that this be removed also.T5. Spruce. This is in poor condition and declining. This tree I would recommend felling to ground level. This would allow more room for the other trees either side to develop.T6. Cherry Plum, this is a multi-stemmed tree and it is not known whether this is in the bounds of your property. The tree is collapsing already; some work has been done to this tree to lift the low branches, due to them blocking the footpath. Parts of the tree are also resting on the fence, I would recommend that due to the condition of it that it be felled to ground level.G7. Two Lime tees further down. These were pollarded some years ago. Some of the fork structures are quite tight, with Elderberry growing from within them. This would indicate there is sufficient decay and moisture for the Elderberry to survive. Therefore I would recommend that these two trees be reduced by approximately one third, shortening back side branches all round to shape, lif...
