Description:
1 No. Lime - raise the canopy to 4.5m by removing one small and one larger (approx branch diameter at attachment point 8") primary limb, along with numerous downward sweeping secondary limbs. All would be cut back to appropriate growth points. The aim of this work is to establish the crown to begin at a height which allows good access under the tree and allows more light. The raise is minimal in perspective of the size of the tree. There is also a limb which projects towards the house at about 30% of the way up the crown, permission is sought to reduce the length of this limb by 2.5m into the union at this point, and to lightly reduce the other limbs which stand proud of the main canopy towards the house by around 1m. This work will not impact the overall crown size or shape or negatively impact the aesthetic value or health of the tree.
