- 3 weeks ago a large branch split off Cedar tree marked No 1 in sketch. The branch fell across the fence dividing us from No. 43 Rose Cottage. I asked Tree Surgeon Shaun Dodson for advice regarding the safety of the tree. He advised that the tree should be cut down, also that Cedar tree marked No 2 as shown in sketch should be cut down as standing alone it may fall as it has only branches on one side. I have enclosed photos of the damage on the tree adn also showing how big they are and their close proximity to the main road and the pedestrian crossing. They would do an awful lot of damage if they fell especially if they fell across the road.
