Tree and hedge works
Status:

Address:
22 Basingstoke Road Ramsdell Hampshire
Description:
Removal of sweet chestnut tree located on the boundary of 22 and 20 Basingstoke Road, Ramsdell. Sectional dismantle of tree to ground level and stump removal via grinding to facilitate boundary fence installation, and to allow better light to both properties and juvenile trees that have been planted close by. There is also concern around damage/injury to young children caused by falling conkers. Arborist Comments: Tree has four stems all from the base which has potential to fail, it is more vulnerable to high winds and stress from later growth. The tree is overpowering in size over both properties. It has a LV power line running through the centre of the tree which is now rubbing onto the line, which could cause this tree to become live or cause damage to the DNO infrastructure, which is both dangerous to the owners, neighbours and any surrounding pets etc. as well as potential wider impact to the electricity supply of some of the village.
