Planning applications

- Type:
- Tree and hedge works
- Status:
- Decision has yet to be made
- Address:
- 43 Mount View Road, Hornsey, London,
- Description:
- Established Cherry trees. There are two in the middle of the garden (length of garden & width) that cut the garden in two. They are close to eachother & intertwine. They block out day/sunlight causing grass to be damp & mossy. We have had permission to cut back but would like them removed to enable space for more turf to be laid. Enabling better family use of the space.

- Description:
- Image 1. Half way down on the left is a Foxglove Tree (Paulownia tomentosa). It has spectacular lilac flowers but does leave a lot of debris on the lawn at this time of year. We want to cut the branches back 4ft (1.2m) as it hasn't been maintained for years. Image 2. Cut back the branches 4ft (1.2m) of the tree just past this one as again overgrown. On the other side of the garden is a Toffee Apple Tree (cercis cercidiphllum japonicum), this also needs cutting back due to lack of maintenance. Please see pictures. Image 3. Remove the overgrown thorny rose.
