Status:
Application approved
Address:
6 Dunford Road, Poole,
Description:
Sweet Chestnut tree (T1), we would like to apply for a crown reduction. By 2m only On 19/10/2020, we requested permission to remove two broken branches that had fallen in high winds and had been caught by foliage underneath. These were sizable branches with considerable weight. Our concern is that the size of the tree in its current state is at risk of losing more branches, causing damage to surrounding fences, outbuildings, and possibly injuring people. The size of the broken branches can be seen in photos 1,2 and 3. As seen in photos 4, 5 and 6, the tree may be viewed disproportionate to the dwelling. There are some branches spanning to the neighbouring properties which are protruding more than the rest, leaving them exposed to the wind, and at risk of breaking. We are suggesting that the crown may be rounded into a more circular shape. This would mean a 2-meter reduction on all sides and a 1-meter reduction on the top.
