Description:
T1 Sycamore (ports.latest.crumples) Remove whole stem 6ft up from included union that's overhanging the property, picture attached with blue marking where to leave the stem. Epicormics to be removed also to promote new healthy growth. The stem is heavily weighted towards/over the property, included union at the base with an old wound and a lot of debris sat in-between both stems, unclear how deep this may go. There is sever decline in the canopy, already starting to fail with a lot of deadwood falling from the canopy and damaging roof. The applicants are now having to replace the roof due to this damage and don't want this to continue. Most of the tree is overhanging the property due to the close proximity. Cavities are present all the round the canopy with evidence of soft rot, on some very over extended limbs. Large cavity on main stem around 12ft up from union this looks to extremely hollow into the main stem, serious weak point trying to support the whole canopy. This is a over mature tree, not in very good condition and extremely close to property. The canopy is already falling apart and damaging the applicants roof. There is a similar age sycamore next to it with a healthy dense crown and you can clearly see the difference in condition. This has now become a safety issue due to amount of debris fallen onto the rood in the recent weeks and would applicate if someone would come do a site visit asap.
