- T1 Oak: Clean the canopy by removing deadwood and rubbing branches. Lift the crown to a height of 5.5m above the ground on the roadside. This tree has recently lost a branch, I suspect from a high sided VehicleT2 Young Sweet Chestnut: Coppice tree - on the suggestion of HDC tree officer.T3 Scots Pine: Clean the canopy by removing deadwood, reubbing and broken branchesT4 Cypress/Thuja: Moribund tree. Remove to ground levelT5,6 Twin Stemmed Scots Pine: Remove to ground level. Regretably the dominant stem on this tree has been "topped" leaving a wound size of 200-250mm diameter. This species of tree does not tolerate this treatment although there are not any fruiting bodies present at the time of inspection. This is an 18m tree within 3m of the house.
