- Description:
- The residents of 69 Torkington Road are having issues with conkers from a mature horse chestnut, situated in the garden of number 73 (T1) falling on their vehicles and causing expensive damage. Additionally they are concerned that the row of trees will look uneven if only the one offending tree is worked on. Previously a 30% crown reduction operation was performed, estimated 12 years ago, but this did little to address the problem. Together with the residents of 69, we are are requesting the following works:1) A crown reduction the trees T1, T2 & T3 by 30%, 2) Removing, the upper quarter of one limb of the horse chestnut T1 which is growing directly over the drive area.3) Removing several small branches from the smaller sycamore T4, to give better form and prevent ingrowing with the large, mature adjacent Ash (T5).
