Description:
Self-set Ash to be felled as it is growing into a well-established, large weeping willow at the rear of the property, backing onto the field. Surrounding overgrown shrubs and bushes to be pollarded and cut back to allow light to get in and improve the overall look, whilst still maintaining privacy, allowing that part of the garden to be turned into a useful space rather than a dark and overgrown scrub. Corby's Senior Planning Officer, Dean Biddle, has seen the area concerned. Additionally, the weeping willow is to be lightly cut back to remove the older, fragile branches and restore the look and 'presence' of the tree without the interference from the Ash. This works will be carried out by a professional tree surgeon, likely Lloyd at Weldon Forestry. Finally, we aim to plant 2-3 native British trees along the border, shown on the map, the 'replace' the felled Ash and give a better overall appearance.
