They have worked to redesign the garden and the area which is now all landscaped. They wish to use their garden as a social area which can be enjoyed throughout the year and utilise it more as a pleasant additional space with their property. The applicant is experiencing lots of bird mess which is becoming unmanageable, they are jet washing the area regularly but still an unable to use the area freely because of hygiene concerns. This is detrimental to their enjoyment of the garden. The Ash is also too large for the garden. It blocks out a significant amount of light and they are unable to plant any other specimens. The Apple tree is on the land the applicant purchased but it is positioned right next to the house and the branches are hitting the house which causes concerns and noise. The applicant has planted a plethora of new shrubs and a Japanese Maple combined with some smaller appropriate trees. If the tree work is approved they would like to create a new flower bed which they hope will attract bees and insects.
