Description:
(T1) Elder - This tree has four stems. Proposing to remove the stem closest to the building as it is beginning to encroach on the building and has a fairly heavy lean with included bark at the union. So will either break or damage the building in future. (T2) Sycamore - The tree is overhanging and rubbing on the neighbouring roof. Proposing to carry out 10-15% crown reduction (2m) to prevent tree from encroaching on to neighbouring land and damaging the building

Address:
Flat 1, 17 Highbury Terrace, London,
Description:
T1 Holm Oak (Quercus ilex) (Evergreen) x1We have been requested to prune the tree as hard as possible so as it can be managed by the gardener in the future. Unfortunately we cannot remove all the foliage as it will stop the tree from being able to photosynthesise therefore preventing the tree from producing essential sugars. My recommendation for pruning the tree as much as possible whilst retaining some foliage would allow more light into the crown which in turn would activate new shoots to grow within the crown therefore creating an opportunity to prune the tree in to a smaller form in the future. Suggested Works: Crown reduce (into a ball) as much as possible whilst retaining some foliage in order to facilitate a healthy recovery.
