Description:: Oak - Ref X/02/20207/ORD- Section fell to ground level. Tree is in very close proximity to the property and has outgrown it's location. There are also signs of damage to the storm drain located 2ft away from the tree's. The boundary kerb stones also have signs of possible root disturbance. (Photo's attached). No structural report has been taken to prove this.The Oak now stands at around 20M , the 48 inch trunk is 8ft from the closest wall of the property and 6 inch's from the boundary wall. it also appears to have had substantial crown reduction undertaken previously leaving a rather unbalanced crown.I do not believe this tree is suitable for long term retention given it's proximity to the property and likelihood of eventual structural damage to the property and surrounding pathway and wall.A replant in this spot would also be unsuitable given the proximity to the house. If a replant is required a suitable species for the area should be selected and planted in the large rear garden.There has been no report undertaken as to the cause of the damage to the drain or the kerb stones.I write this report as a time served arborist of over 20years, a RFS cert Arb holder and experienced surveyor.
