Type:
Tree and hedge works
Status:
Status not known
Address:
50 BROOKLANDS PARK, BLACKHEATH, LONDON,
Description:
Buddleia tree - fell because (1) it is not in good condition or of attractive appearance (2) it continually obstructs the garden path (3) it excessively shades and overgrows the plants under it (4) it tends to grow over and contact the adjacent Wendy house and neighbour's fence (which it has damaged). It will not be replaced with a new plant because there are already enough plants in the vicinity that will take over the vacated space.

Address:
50 BROOKLANDS PARK, BLACKHEATH, LONDON,
Description:
Laurel tree in front garden - fell because (1) it is distorting and harming the growth of adjacent shrubs under its canopy (2) its roots are damaging the pavement (3) its foliage tends to extend over the pavement at a height of less than 2 metres, thus obstructing the passage of pedestrians. The tree will not be replaced because the space will be quickly taken up by existing adjacent trees and shrubs. In the past attempting to lop the tree has proved ineffective.

Address:
50 BROOKLANDS PARK, BLACKHEATH, LONDON,
Description:
Hawthorn (H) - fell because regrettably it is dead. Not to be replaced because the space is crowded out by the adjacent trees on each side, a large mirabelle tree and a large copper-leaved tree, whose canopies directly contact each other (which is probably partly why the hawthorn died). Also the site of the hawthorn has almost no sunlight partly because of the other trees and partly because it is within 2ft of a high fence which shades it.
