If slates are to be removed during the course of the works, they are to replaced with an exact match. It is not envisaged that slates will need to be replaced. Chimney at rear - repoint where joints have failed with lime and sand mortar to match existing. Colour of sand to be agreed before work starts. New light fitting - see attached photo 1. INTERIOR Internal doors (photo 2) which are of hollow, insubstantial, modern ply material to be removed and replaced with soft wood vertical panelled cottage style doors (Brace and ledger style) (photo 3 ) Remove modern fire surround and gas fire in front room. Cut back any new infill brickwork and expose the original fire opening. Make good and install new wood burning stove.
