Description:
TPO 741: T105: Multi-stem Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) located on the left-hand side of the front garden ? Fell to ground level and poison by way of eco-plugs to inhibit regrowth. Initial Inspection: Declining multi-stem Ash consisting of six large stems with possible signs of Ash Dieback, with a moderate to high amount of deadwood throughout the canopy. The top 3-4m of the crown appears to have died back completely, with one stem to the south side of the canopy showing the most signs of life. Ivy present on the lower 8-10m of the trunk. The tree has already dropped significant amounts of large bits of deadwood, which is present in the canopy over the road and footpath. At this stage the tree is still safe to climb, but should it deteriorate more in the future a MEWP (Cherry Picker) will be needed to carry out the works safely. As the tree is protected by TPO I am aware there is a duty to replant.
